Upcoming Quarterly Stakeholder Meetings
On the Network Management side of things, we’d like to ask all stakeholders to mark off September 15th and December 15th on their calendars for upcoming stakeholder meetings. Discussions will be held at the MTM Minnesota office and begin at 6:00p.m. We look forward to sharing new information with our partners soon!
Care and Utilization Management Collaborate for Refugee Population
Leadership staff from our Care and Utilization Management Departments, along with MTM Minnesota’s Education, Training, and Outreach (ETO) Coordinator, recently visited Stearns County to attend their quarterly refugee meeting. Coordinated by the county’s public health department, the meeting covered an array of topics from transportation, to health screenings, and resettlement statistics. Clients brought their concerns regarding medical transportation of the refugee population to light. MTM Minnesota began coordinating non-emergency medical transportation trips for Stearns County in January 2016. The transition did not come without its challenges, but having this forum allowed the Public Health Department and other organizations to partner with us at MTM to resolve transportation issues. Our ETO team is happy to problem-solve with influential organizations to make a difference in the lives of our members.
