MTM Health was proud to join the St. Louis community at Go Red STL to support women’s heart health and the American Heart Association.

MTM Health Stands Strong for Women’s Heart Health

At MTM Health, women’s heart health isn’t just a cause—it’s a mission that hits close to home. This year, we had the honor of standing alongside the American Heart Association and the St. Louis community at the local Go Red for Women Luncheon, a powerful annual event focused on raising awareness of cardiovascular disease—the leading cause of death among women.

This year’s luncheon held even more significance for MTM Health, as our President and CEO Alaina Macia served as the 2024-25 Go Red for Women Chair for St. Louis. Alaina addressed the crowd with a message of inspiration and empowerment, sharing her personal passion for women’s health and the vital importance of education, advocacy, and access to care.

“Health is personal, confounding, difficult to navigate and often, lonely – but I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be,” Alaina said during her speech. “It’s no secret that women have been underrepresented, undertreated and undercounted, and while many feel unseen or abandoned by the system, there’s one source of support we can always count on – each other. Women motivate each other, educate each other, and inspire each other. We are deep wired for connection. When we Go Red for each other, we have the power to build communities that foster better health.”

Celebrating Our Woman of Impact Britt Singer

We were also incredibly proud to celebrate Britt Singer, MTM Health’s Woman of Impact nominee. Britt led a dedicated team of MTM Health employees—our Heart Heroes—in a months-long fundraising effort to support the American Heart Association’s mission to end heart disease and stroke in women.

Thanks to her passion, leadership, and the generosity of our community, Britt achieved remarkable recognition: she was named the top fundraiser in the St. Louis area and ranked #55 in the entire nation out of hundreds of Woman of Impact nominees.

Britt’s efforts exemplify the heart and determination of the MTM Health team and our shared commitment to driving meaningful change.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the Woman of Impact campaign—our employees, their families and friends, and our incredible community partners. Whether you donated, shared information, or joined us in spirit, you helped amplify the message of the Go Red movement.

Together, we are helping women understand their risk for cardiovascular disease, recognize symptoms early, and access the resources they need for better heart health.

Moving Forward, Stronger Than Ever

The Go Red for Women Luncheon may be over, but our work continues. At MTM Health, we remain committed to advancing health access and supporting initiatives that empower women to take control of their health.
