MTM Named a Fit-Friendly Worksite by the American Heart Association

MTM, Inc. announced today that it has been recognized as a Gold Level Recipient of the American Heart Association’s Fit-Friendly Worksites program. As a catalyst for positive change, the Fit-Friendly Worksites program recognizes companies throughout that nation that take initiative by making the health and wellness of their employees a priority. In the American Heart Association’s 11-state Midwest Affiliate region, the organization recognized 323 worksites, which employ more than one million staff members combined.

MTM was recognized by the American Heart Association for its continued commitment to employee wellbeing and promoting a culture of wellness throughout the organization. Specific efforts include offering employees on-site workout equipment and subsidized gym memberships; increasing healthy eating options available at each location; and implementing at least nine criteria as outlined by the American Heart Association in the areas of physical activity, nutrition, and culture.
