On February 28, MTM partnered with the South West Transit Association (SWTA) to host this webinar, which taught participants about the basics of paratransit eligibility as set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and how to best put those basics into practice at your transit agency. Our presenters deep dove into recommended background and training requirements for your staff, provided helpful resources to ensure your program is efficient and effective, and went over the pros and cons of the various eligibility determination options—including paper-based assessments, interviews, and functional assessments.
