Thinksgiving: MTM Collaborates with Lift for Life
For the second year in a row, MTM was proud to participate in Thinksgiving, an annual event that connects St. Louis-area non-profit organizations with innovative teams from local companies. Together, the non-profits and company sponsors come together for a day of creative problem solving focused on the future.
Five MTM teammates, including Director, Healthcare Operations Chris Jenkins; Agile Project Manager Greta Noack; Manager, HR Compliance Jasna Dubo; Graphic Designer Victoria Arbogast; and Director, Mergers and Acquisitions Zach Vaninger, partnered with Lift for Life Gym. Lift for Life offers children who live in St. Louis a safe after-school environment aimed at helping them strengthen their bodies, enrich their minds, develop healthy social relationships, and learn to make positive life choices. More than 440 local youth benefit from the organization’s services, which predominately serve families that live below the poverty line. The organization strives to give an alternative to at-risk youth, helping to prevent potential crime and drug use in the region.
Lift for Life brought a challenge to our team that they were hoping we could help solve—and it was a challenge our team was up for! Lift for Life challenged us to help them find creative ways to transport children and teens, enabling them to reliably participate in their daily programming. Our teammates brainstormed with the gym to come up with solutions for transporting youth to their location, while also helping public transit services grow in the region, helping St. Louis public schools thrive, and connecting with other local groups to grow the gym’s impact.
Thank you to Thinksgiving and Lift for Life for allowing us to be part of this inspirational collaboration!
