Working Within Difficult Weather Conditions

Experienced On the Move Travel Trainers Pam Canavan and Tammie Moore share best practices in all types of weather conditions, from hot and muggy Florida, to cold and snowy Wisconsin in our upcoming webinar. Beyond the basics around being safe in extreme weather, panelists will discuss how the weather issues like humidity and ice can affect individuals with diverse physical and cognitive abilities.

Attendees will learn how to work with transit agencies to understand their unique weather-related policies, and how relay such processes to passengers. All are able to share travel training experiences working in inclement weather situations and receive advice in a question and answer portion at the end of the presentation.
