West Virginia Saves $3.4 Million with MTM
As the non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) broker in West Virginia since October 1, 2014, MTM is dedicated to helping more Medicaid members access healthcare while reducing costs for the Department of Health and Human Resources (DHRR). DHHR recently announced that through its contract with MTM, the state has saved more than $3.4 million over the past year while improving service quality and reducing fraud, waste, and abuse. In this time, MTM scheduled 475,000 trips while handling 413,000 calls from West Virginia Medicaid members.
