Minnesota Transportation Programs

Minnesota city

MTM coordinates non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for fee for service Medical Assistance recipients in the Metro Twin City area through a contract with the Metro County Consortium (MCC). MTM arranges transportation for recipients to help them get to their medical appointments at clinics and urgent care facilities in lieu of using costly emergency room services. This metro program is supported by the ten counties served in partnership with MTM. Our goal is to provide appropriate, cost effective, and safe transportation to recipients at all times.

MTM also provides transportation for refugee recipients covered by the Minnesota Department of Health who need access to pre-medical screenings and other covered appointments.
